*Battery at restaurant*
Police responded to a battery complaint at a restaurant in the 5300 block of Touhy Avenue on Feb. 21. According to police, an employee was receiving verbally abusive comments from her coworkers. The worker was also pushed and shoved inside the restaurant. While no arrests were made, detectives are investigating the incident, police said.
*Burglary *
Police responded to a residential burglary in the 5100 block of Dobson on Feb. 22. According to police, brute force was used to gain entry. Missing from the home were two wireless phones, a laptop and several pieces of jewelry.
*Theft from auto - *
A spare tire was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 8200 block of Kilpatrick Avenue on Feb. 24.
*Criminal damage*
Two electrical components were reported damaged at an apartment building in the 8500 block of Niles Center Road on Feb. 23.
*Vehicle vandalism*
A car owner reported that an unknown person used a stone to smash out his vehicle's window in the 8200 block of Ridgeway Avenue on Feb. 24.
*Bilked cabbie*
A cab driver was bilked out of a fare after a customer ditched her bill in the 8400 block of Keeler Avenue on Feb. 22.
*DUI*
Timothy Reed, 26, of Evanston, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 24. Police did not indicate where Reed was stopped.
Maria De Jesus Jimenez, 25, of Chicago, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol and driving under the influence of alcohol on Feb. 24. Police did not indicate where the driver was stopped.
*Retail theft*
Shari O'Neal, 21, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after she attempted to steal clothing from Nordstrom in Old Orchard Mall on Feb. 22. According to police, O'Neal also had a sensor removing device in her possession.

Jack Collins, 57, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft after he attempted to steal something from TJ Maxx, 3337 Golf Road, on Feb. 22.

Irma Merino, of Chicago, was charged with felony retail theft after she attempted to steal clothing from Macy's in Old Orchard Mall on Feb. 23.

Joy Richards, 58, of Chicago, was charged with felony retail theft on Feb. 24. Richards attempted to steal clothing from Macy's in Old Orchard Mall.
