At the Milford debate last night, those in attendance may have noticed that sections of the white walls at the front of City Hall were made light purple.
That was part of the work done by a film crew to transform Milford City Hall into a set for the new independent film 'After the Fall.'
The film stars David Duchovny (The X-Files, Goats), Hope Davis (American Splendor) and Timothy Hutton (Academy Award winner for 1980's Ordinary People). The film is not yet on IMDb, but Deadline had the following synopsis

The film is based on the true story of John and Brenda Fareri, grieving parents who used the unexpected death of their young daughter Maria as the impetus to build a world class state of the art children’s hospital.
Lindsey Lefkow, a coordinator for 'After the Fall' wrote in an e-mail, "We are so happy to be filming in Milford. Everyone has been really welcoming to our crew."
Lefkow has previously done production work on the movies 'Hope Springs' and 'Tower Heist.'
Milford Patch made a request to take a photograph of the filming, but accomodation was not possible on such short notice.
